Made from long-staple cotton, the finest grade of cotton fibre, it resists pilling, holds its colour, and gets softer with every wash. Breathable, hypoallergenic, and gentle enough to sleep in every night.

The same properties that make cotton sateen exceptional for sleep make it equally suited to wearing outside. The softness, the drape, the weight. It moves well, looks intentional, and requires no translation between contexts.

Every Laete piece is made from a cotton sateen sourced from Dragoni, a family mill founded in 1929 in the textile region between Como and Varese, Italy. At 145 GSM, the fabric is substantial enough to drape cleanly and hold its shape, while remaining light and comfortable against skin.
